An abstract composition reminiscent of impressionism. Created using a custom designed photography rig that allows me to capture large macro photographs of my oil paintings.
Van Gogh sprung to my mind when I found this composition within the oil paint layers. From the colour palette to the movement through the print. I named it A Stanage Storm as I have spent many an hour capturing sunsets and sunrises in all conditions right at the famous climbing spot called Plantation. As you walk the paths leading up to the cliff face, you pass through iconic gritstone walls and the valley starts to get steeper on the right leading you up to the epics views from the top path. One of my very favourite places on earth.
